As a Team Leader in Community Organisations Disaster Adaptation, you strengthen disaster preparedness and sector collaboration while leading staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality, coordinated work. You oversee workloads, support day-to-day operations, and foster a positive, solution-focused team culture. You ensure strong governance by maintaining accurate reporting, tracking deliverables, and monitoring progress against milestones and work plans. You contribute to partner and governance meetings, help manage risks, and keep activities aligned with project requirements and shared goals. You work collaboratively with councils, government agencies, peak bodies, and community organisations to co-design practical, inclusive systems and tools. Through strong relationships and effective engagement, you ensure sector needs are understood and embedded in disaster planning and capability development.
